LCPs material

Liquid crystal is a type of special optical anisotropic material. During the light passing through LC molecules, it is affected by the birefringence of LC molecules, forming different propagation velocity in o and e directions, which results in phase differences. With the difference of the angle between the light vector and the refractive index ellipsoid of LC molecule, this difference will be manifested in the deflection, distortion and depolarization of polarized light. The light modulation of LC is the basis of its application in LC display.

LCP is a polymerizable LC material. It can be solidify and maintain the optical effect into a thin film with 1% thickness of a hair, which greatly expands the application field of LC.
